Frequently Asked Questions
Your driving instructor will take you to an area where the roads are quiet, wide and preferably long and straight. When you're learning the basics, you don't want to constantly have to stop to let traffic past! Depending on how quickly you pick things up or how much experience you already have, you'll typically spend between 2-6 hours in this sort of area, learning the basics.
Here at Drive 321, we only invite top quality instructors who want to work with us. We don't use trainee driving instructors like many national companies out there. We have instructors covering many parts of the UK, some of which have more than 30 years of experience in the industry.
Your provisional driving licence is the most important thing to bring to your first driving lesson. You should also make sure you wear comfortable, flat footwear that are suitable for driving. No high heels or flip flops!
Yes, you can! In fact it can help accelerate your learning by practising with them exactly as you have been taught by your instructor. The person you are practising with must be over 21 years of age and have had their driving licence for a minimum of 3 years. You must also be insured as a learner driver on the vehicle you're practising in.
